Hello! My name is Hiranya, and I’m a fifth-year student studying Psychology and Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge. I’ve always cared a lot about supporting the well-being, education, and growth of young people, especially in communities where resources and opportunities aren’t always available.

This summer, I’ve been given the opportunity to work with Real Humanitarian as a Student Intern and travel to one of their partner programs in Ethiopia, Ghana, or Guatemala. Through this, I’ll be working with children and youth in after-school programs and workshops that focus on building confidence, skills, and creating better opportunities for their future.

This experience is really meaningful to me. It’s a chance for me to step outside of my comfort zone, apply what I’ve been learning in school, and be part of something that makes a real difference. I’m also really excited to learn from the communities I’ll be working with and gain a better understanding of global issues and perspectives.

To make this possible, I’m fundraising $4,000 to help cover travel and program costs. Any amount, no matter how small, would truly mean a lot to me. And if you’re not able to donate, even sharing this page would help more than you know.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for supporting me in any way you can 🤍
